Spare Me, Great Lord!

In Lake City, a peaceful life is shattered by the resurgence of spiritual energy. After surviving a car accident, high school student Lu Shu unexpectedly awakens an ability: he grows stronger by harvesting "negative emotion points" from others. Although his younger sister, Lu Xiaoyu, is mischievous, the two rely on each other for survival. At school, Lu Shu dishes out cynical, snarky remarks to his classmates—garnering a massive amount of negative emotion points in the process—thereby revealing his unique method of leveling up and embarking on an extraordinary adventure in this new era.

Lü Shu tests his system by deliberately annoying people. He spends his earned system points on a prize wheel, unlocking the "Fruit of Purification" and an infamous supernatural "Stinky Tofu" item.

The world begins acknowledging the "Aura Awakening." The mysterious organization Tian Luo Di Wang establishes special "Daoyuan Classes" in schools to train prospective metahumans. Lü Shu joins but hides his true power level.

Lü Shu's classmate, Liu Li, tries to show off his Class-F aptitude. Lü Shu mercilessly trolls him and his classmates to farm distress points, quickly realizing his internal cultivation speed vastly outpaces theirs.

Lü Shu discovers that his elderly neighbor, Li Xianyi, is actually a legendary Tier-A powerhouse sword cultivator. Xiaoyu charms the old man into teaching her, while Lü Shu observes the techniques to enhance his own mystical celestial map.

A supernatural anomaly occurs nearby, creating the Beimang Ruins. The Daoyuan students are deployed into the restricted zone for real-world experience, but they are quickly overwhelmed by aggressive skeleton soldiers.

Separated from his instructors, Lü Shu uses his strength to secretly smash skeleton warriors, hoarding their magical spears to sell later while pretending to be a useless, cowardly student.

Lü Shu encounters dangerous Ghost Generals deeper in the ruins. He protects a few classmates while continuing to manipulate their fear and frustration to supercharge his system points.

Anxious about her brother, Lü Xiaoyu sneaks into the ruins herself. She triggers her own unique awakening: the ability to summon and control the souls of entities Lü Shu or she has defeated.

Lü Shu locates the core of the ruins and encounters the massive Skeleton King boss. Using his hidden celestial blade fragments and unmatched physical strength, he battles the beast in secret.

Lü Shu successfully defeats the boss and absorbs the "Matrix Eye"—the magical core controlling the entire ruin. The illusion collapses, and the students are saved, though nobody knows Lü Shu did it.

After returning safely, Lü Shu sells the magical spears back to Tian Luo Di Wang for an exorbitant price. He is officially promoted to a lower management rank within the organisation, securing a stable, wealthy future for Xiaoyu and himself
